The NA2XBY is resistant to mechanical stresses as a result of the double layer of galvanized steel tape armour applied to the cable. The DSTA provides improved flexibility compared to round steel wires or other more rigid armouring.
With a flame retardant PVC outersheath, the NA2XBY cable is CPR classified, making it suitable for fixed installations internally. The UV resistance makes external applications also permissible, although it should be noted that these cables are not suitable for use in water.
Application
This cable is highly resistant against mechanical stresses due to the galvanised steel tape armoured construction. Suitable for local distribution systems.

Details
Resistant to mechanical stresses. CPR classified. UV resistance.
The Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation means a maximum operating temperature of +90oC, over Class 2 stranded aluminium conductors.
A screened variant NA2XCY, with tinned copper wire braid for EMC protection, is also available, as is a copper conductor equivalent N2XBY.
