NA2XRY Aluminium Conductor IEC 60502-1XLPE SWA PVC 0.6/1kV Cable

The NA2XRH and NA2XRY are aluminium power cables with a voltage rating of 600/1000V designed to withstand harsh operating conditions and mechanical stresses.

Product Information

Aluminium stranded conductors insulated in XLPE, these cables are sheathed in either PVC (for the NA2XRY) or LSZH materials (for NA2XRH). These power cables have a steel wire armour providing mechanical protection and making them suitable for underground installations. Their outersheath is UV stable and the cables are suitable for exposure to direct sunlight.

The NA2XRH cables’ halogen-free flame retardant oversheath makes it suitable for installations in public places where in the event of fire there would be considerable risk to life and sensitive equipment. This range is widely used in public buildings such as hotels, schools, high constructions and hospitals. It is also used in refineries and data centres.

Where the cable is being used to connect equipment rated to 70oC, the NAYRY cable with PVC insulation may be considered.

Application: Can be used in underground installations since the cable is very suitable for mechanical compulsion and harsh operating conditions. Suitable for comparatively high ambient temperature due to high maximum permissible conductor temperature.
Suitability: For internal, external and underground installations including direct burial.
Standards & Voltage Rating: Generally to BS 5467, IEC 60502-1 Flame Retardant according to IEC/EN 60332-1-2

Details: Broad range of sizes including 3-core with reduced earth. UV stable. CPR compliant. SWA provides mechanical protection from stresses and external environmental factors.

The NA2XRH and NA2XRY cables are available in a broad range of sizes, including 3-core with reduced earth. Sizes are detailed on the attached technical datasheets but where additional data is required for cable selection then our team is on hand to assist. For support in selecting the most appropriate cable, please refer to our technical or sales team for more information.

NA2XRH and NA2XRY cables have a maximum operating temperature range of +90^oC.

In addition to our range of NA2XRH and NA2XRY cables, we also supply the Copper equivalent N2XRY & N2XRH, and a full range of British standard low voltage armoured cable to BS5467 and BS6724.
